One Response to Catholic Vitamin E Ecstasy

  1. “Our hill is asked by the military for landing their choppers and tents…” I received this email from my missionary friend in India, Fr. Varghese, the night of October 25, four days after torrential rains started wreaking a new round of havoc in his area. “Things are in the hands of the government and the rescue workers,” wrote Fr. V, who had been working with a volunteer team of 70 faithful to rebuild flood-damaged homes. On Saturday, I wrote and recorded my Missionary Moment using this information. But a miracle happened on Sunday…The rains stopped! The hill was not required by the military after all. This situation is still dire, and Fr.’s mission doors are still open to those who need shelter, but those government choppers never had to land on the mission compound. However, by then my podcast had posted, and I reported on the choppers landing! So I needed to come and write up a little clarification. We must be accurate. :) Please continue to keep the people of Andhra Pradesh in prayer as they continue recovering from many weeks of crisis and natural disaster. Their power grid is frequently down. Food is scarce there, and in Fr. Varghese’s area, many people are ill with fevers. For updates, please check out Dalitjournal.blogspot.com. Thank you and God bless you!
