Well dear friends… — sometimes we hear those sort of words from the pulpit, sometimes from a politician. They can be made to sound sincere – but they can be rather shallow in their intent. Today’s podcast is about friendship. Deep and caring friendship. And we spend time with our good friends, Deacon Don and Betty Schaefer. We talk a little bit about their journey and about friends in their lives. We do some joking and sharing about the friendship between Don and Betty and Dee and Tom We hope you will listen. And when we were finished recording that show — it came to me that common faith practice — deep abiding acceptance of our Catholic Faith was, in part a reason for our bonding. But too — Don and Betty are very likable, caring folks.
