Irene came to visit me soon after I had surgery for breast cancer. Her faith and thanksgiving was such a comfort to me during the hardest time in my life. Her testimony fueled my own faith and it is how I survived my battle! The blessed mother was and is key to how I survived my battle. Thank you Irene I to give the glory to God and will do my best to give hope to others. May God continue to bless you and your family for many years to come.

Patrice – somewhere in Scripture it tells us how valuable a good friend is. And Irene is blessed with so many friends. I see another comment here from Diane. It is so wonderful to see real ‘thanksgiving’ taking place in Irene’s life. I remember the story in Bible where ten were healed and only one came back… I think her name is Irene. Blessings. I’ve known Irene since her children were small. I witnessed her incredible faith throughout her cancer and divorce. She never stopped believing God would heal her. Her story has been a powerful witness to many of God’s unfathomable mercy and faithfulness. And thanks to you, Deacon, her story can give hope to even more people! Praise God!

As someone who knows and works with Irene I want anyone who enjoys this site to know how truly blessed those around her are. I’ve known “of” Irene from the days of cancer to “really” knowing her, and can’t relate accurately enough in words how much of an inspiration she is. She has carried the heaviest crosses and bore them without complaint. Through all of her ups and downs it was truly amazing how unshakable her faith was. She is an amazing witness to how much God loves us by having given us His Son and our Blessed Mother, eliminating her cancer AND seeing her be so happy in her new life. God IS good!
