She’s a Catholic, a wife, a mom (of seven), a religious ed teacher, an author, a speaker… well she must take a lot of Catholic Vitamins because she’s doing so much great work in the mission fields. While we covered much in our time together, our main focus was Mary Lou’s new book, The Three Things Divorced Catholics Need To Know, published by Our Sunday Visitor press. We did something a bit unusual — we asked a young wife/mother going through divorce to review this book and then we used some of her many comments as interview fodder for our discussion. I’m so thankful to Mary Lou – and to my friend Tammy who helped us have a great discussion about going through divorce, and what Tammy learned from reading this book.
