As you may know if you’ve listened to this week’s CV — our program is a call to HOLINESS. And one sure-certain way to grow in holiness is to pray the rosary. Our guest is David Calvillo. He’s a former adjunct law and university professor, and is now a practicing civil trial lawyer.

As you’ll hear in the interview – and what will be fleshed out even more in his new book (REAL MEN PRAY THE ROSARY: A Practical Guide to a Powerful Prayer) – David had a profound spiritual experience while participating in an 80 man rosary at a retreat facility during an ACTS Retreat.

Since that experience – David has become like Saul-turned-to-Paul. He and his wife formed a website and organization entitled Real Men Pray the Rosary. The web address is:  http://realmenpraytherosary.org/

The Mission

To share with ALL Christians, especially men,  the spiritual blessings of praying the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Specifically, our mission statement is derived directly from the following:

Our goal at RMPTR is to “evangelize- to “promote the Rosary with conviction.” We endeavor to keep the devotion to praying the Rosary alive and well in our time. In a world filled with fast – paced distractions and ubiquitous technology, we endeavor to encourage people to unplug from time to time, to share in something that doesn’t need electricity or an LCD screen. Just a clear mind for prayer and meditation on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Perhaps even daily as our Blessed Mother recommended at Fatima and countless Saints have done through their own journeys?

This site is an invitation to ALL Christian men and women (the Rosary is not just for Catholics!) to experience the peaceful joy of praying the Rosary. We invite you to share in this journey with our Rosary community.
