Catholic Vitamin L Laughter

If God operated heaven on a computer: “I’m sorry, all our angels are busy helping other saints right now. However, your prayer is important to us and will be answered in the order it was received. If you would like to speak to Gabriel, press 1; To speak with Michael, press 2…. Our office is closed on Sundays because, I decree, IT IS A RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY.”

Join us and a delightful young man that approaches the pressures and tensions of his day and surroundings with a delightful bit of humor and self-deprecation. His name is Dan McNally. He lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan and is a student at Franciscan University. That’s how I found out about him and was able to track him down after the Franciscan Way newsletter did a feature page article about Dan.

Is he a riot? Is he a “wild and crazy” guy? No — not really. Just reminding us to smile inside and to share the smile with others. Making people laugh.

We need more Dans in our world… and in our Church.
